Dr. Halprashanth is a Consultant Neurologist in the Department of Neurology at Global Health City, Sholinganallur , Medavakkam Road, Perumbakkam Chennai.
He was a Consultant Neurologist (2011 to 2012) in SSM Multispecialty Hospital, Hassan, Karnataka and also worked as Specialist Registrar (2008-2011) in the Department of Neurology, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Karnataka.
He holds D.M. (Neurology) from Kasturba Medical College (Manipal University), Manipal, Karnataka, India (2008- 2011, and obtained his post graduation in M.D (General Medicine) from Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore, Karnataka, India (2005- 2008) and M.B.B.S. from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, Karnataka,
India (1999- 2005).
He has to his credit numerous publications in international & national journals including an article in a peer review international journal, Journal of clinical neuroscience, an award winning thesis on RNTCP accepted by Tuberculosis Control India (TBC) India and he had been Invited as a guest speaker in various Indian Medical
Association (IMA) branches.
As a socially responsible doctor, he is the founder President of Ray of Hope Foundation®, a Charitable Trust, based at Hassan, Karnataka, aimed at multi disciplinary management of epilepsy for the lower income population.
He is also life member of Indian Academy of Neurology(IAN) & Indian Medical Association (IMA).
